Phantom Island x Diving

The introductory diving experience was absolutely amazing!! The scenery on the "mythical island" was incredibly beautiful—it totally got me hyped up!!! We saw tons of fish while snorkeling, too, and my friends and I had the time of our lives!! ★ I was so satisfied to experience such breathtaking, otherworldly scenery!! If you come to Kohama Island, you absolutely have to go!!! It was so much fun!!

My heart was completely cleansed by the beautiful scenery of this mythical island stretching as far as the eye could see. I felt deeply soothed as I swam alongside sea turtles, gently rocked by the waves… Since it was a small-group tour designed specifically for beginners, it was a wonderful, unforgettable experience—one where I could escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and blend into the great outdoors of Ishigaki Island at my own pace. Every time I look back at the photos I took with my GoPro, I feel a sense of calm.

First, we boarded the boat and set off for the “phantom island” while admiring the beautiful ocean. Next, we stepped onto a pristine white sandy beach and took our time savoring the breathtaking natural scenery. After that, we moved to a different spot to try our hand at introductory scuba diving, and, following the guide’s instructions, took our time observing sea turtles and colorful fish. Finally, we enjoyed a delicious lunch, and in just one day, we were able to fully experience the charms of Ishigaki Island. It was truly a wonderful and fulfilling tour.

I wasn’t very confident in my physical stamina, so before leaving, I was constantly worried about whether I’d be able to manage two trial dives. But thanks to the guide’s attentive support, even a beginner like me was able to do it. I got to see sea turtles in the crystal-clear ocean, and I’m so glad I took the plunge and joined the tour. The scenery on the “Mythical Island” was also amazing, and with the delicious lunch we enjoyed, all my everyday stress just melted away.

I tried scuba diving at this shop during my last visit to Ishigaki Island, and this time I booked the same package again, which included a trip to the “Phantom Island.” As always, the guide’s instructions were very thorough, so I felt comfortable diving even at a spot I’d never been to before. I was able to see sea turtles up close, and I’m so grateful for this wonderful experience that truly lived up to my expectations. I’d love to come back again.
