Phantom Island (Hamashima)

The waters around Phantom Island (official name: Hamashima) are shallow, so even small children can spend time there safely.

The collaboration of white sand and blue sky seen from the crescent-shaped island is spectacular, and here you can enjoy yourself by taking pictures or walking around while picking up beautiful seashells.

Beginners are welcome☆ Experience Diving Tour

We dive at shallow depths (3 to 6 meters) for 30 to 40 minutes. We will take you to the calm spots with beautiful corals and colorful fishes around Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island.

Before diving, we provide careful practice and explanations so that even those who are not good swimmers can relax and enjoy diving without feeling anxious or nervous!

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there a camera rental or underwater photo service?

The staff will swim with you underwater with a camera and take pictures of you there. The photos will be given free of charge to those who wish to have them taken.

Q. Do you provide transportation?

Yes, we do. We will ask you when you apply, so please let us know where you will be staying. If you are far from the city center such as Kabira area or northern part of Ishigaki Island, please come by rental car or bus.

Q. What kind of clothes should I wear?

Since we will be going to the ocean, it is preferable to wear clothes that can get wet. Please wear your bathing suit and clothes in advance. Shoes should be avoided, and flip-flops or other wet clothes should be worn.

Q. Can I drive a rental car?

Yes, we can. There are parking spaces both at the store and at the port. If you are coming by rental car and do not know where to meet, please contact us on the spot.

Q. Can I take a shower after the tour?

Hot water is available on the ship or at the port. After the tour, you can return to your hotel and take a quick bath to wash off the salt and sand.

Q. Can beginners participate?

Yes, it is okay.
This "Experience Diving Boat Tour" is a course "for beginners".
No knowledge, swimming ability, or diving license card is required. We will explain and practice slowly on the day.

Q. Where do you go by boat?

Mainly around Ishigaki and Taketomi Islands. Since the points of interest vary depending on the sea conditions of the day, the standard travel time is about 5 to 20 minutes.

Q. Can I participate alone?

Yes, of course it is possible.

The half-day diving tour in Ishigaki Island was better than I had imagined! I joined this trip with my friends on our graduation trip and it was a great experience! I am a C-card holder and it was the first time for my 3 friends to dive.
