About indemnification

Our car rentals are all-inclusive and we do not charge any additional fees.

◆Accident
In the unlikely event of an accident or scratches (large or small) while in use, the company will charge a closed vehicle guarantee fee (as part of the operating compensation for the period during which this vehicle is being repaired) and a deductible if insurance is used. The following are the charges for the closed vehicle indemnity.

If self-propelled: 30,000 yen
If not self-driveable: 60,000 yen

If the coverage amount is exceeded due to a major accident, etc., the excess will be borne by the customer.
Damage due to mischief, hit-and-run, theft, etc. is also the responsibility of the customer.

I really appreciated the ride to the terminal, but since the car’s navigation system was a bit outdated and didn’t show the new roads, I’ll give it 4 stars. The interior was clean and comfortable.

I think it offers good value for the money. It’s efficient and commendable that they provide a pickup service to the Remote Islands Terminal and make it easy to rent a Nissan Dayz equipped with a standard navigation system. However, if I had to nitpick, the back seat felt a little cramped when four people were riding, so it might be a bit tight for long-distance trips or if there are larger passengers. For smaller groups, though, it shouldn’t be a problem at all.

It was seriously awesome that they came all the way to the Remote Islands Terminal to pick me up lol. The Days is so nimble—it’s a breeze to drive even on narrow roads! Next, we completed some simple paperwork, got into a Nissan Dayz, and set off to explore Ishigaki Island.
