I was worried about whether I would be able to paddle the canoe, but the river was calm with no waves, so even a beginner could handle it. It was a wonderful one-day tour to fully enjoy the nature of Ishigaki Island, both the scenery of the fantastic island and the serenity of the mangroves, the two extremes of the island.
