Phantom Island (Hamashima)
Phantom Island (official name: Hamashima) is a sandy island located approximately 3 km north of Kohama Island. It is called "Phantom Island" because it disappears and reappears depending on the tide.
The island is a beautiful white crescent moon shape when seen from above. Its beauty makes it a spectacular location for commercials, photogravure shoots, and even weddings.

Landing on a Phantom Island
