Phantom Island (Hamashima)

Phantom Island is an island that appears out of the emerald green sea only for a certain time depending on the tide level.

Taketomi Island

Taketomi Island belongs to the Yaeyama Islands and is a remote island easily accessible by a 10-minute high-speed boat ride from Ishigaki Island.Traditional Okinawan townscapeis preserved on the island is a beauty unlike any other.

You will receive a ferry ticket to Ishigaki and a cab ticket to each hotel (city center only) so you can return to Ishigaki Island at your leisure.

Only the boat ticket between Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island and lunch are included in the course fee. If you wish to take a buffalo cart sightseeing tour and rent a bicycle, please apply for it on your own at the site and settle the bill there.

I joined the tour with my elementary school child and both the phantom island and snorkeling were great! We also had a relaxing town walk on Taketomi Island and enjoyed the whole day. We were very happy to have many pictures taken!

I joined this tour on a trip to Okinawa, which had been a dream of mine for many years. The snorkeling was truly relaxing with the beauty of the ocean. I never thought I would be able to do such a full range of activities on a day trip from Ishigaki Island! The beauty of the Island of Illusions is seriously exceptional. The sea world I saw while snorkeling was otherworldly. And the leisurely flow of time on Taketomi Island made me forget about my daily life.
